We are looking for a skilled and experienced SCADA Specialist, with great electrical skills and extensive knowledge about the renewable industry, who can support our customers and colleagues in solving advanced SCADA issues.

We are specialists in the SCADA field for renewable energy. Role and Responsibilities

As our new SCADA Specialist you are responsible for independent implementation, configuration of OneView/SCADA systems, as well as for integration of these systems with other automation devices. Configures communication, PLC controllers, other components provided by Opoura, conducts tests and diagnoses technical problems within projects related to OneView. Collaborates with the sales engineering department in pricing new projects, solutions. Collaborates with the R&D department in solving problems. Proposes new solutions based on specific customer requirements

Your background

We imagine that you have extensive experience within control and regulation of SCADA systems for the renewable energy industry. You have an educational background as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or have the equivalent experience hereto and an additional 5+ years of relevant work experience.

As an ideal candidate for this position, you are familiar with OEM wind turbine SCADA systems and have a solid knowledge of OPC, PLC, SQL, and Windows Server 20xx, and you can quickly learn and understand the IT infrastructure in different customer set-ups and how to integrate SCADA systems into existing IT enterprise solutions.
