Commercial Operations Lead, Consultancy & Digital Services
Opoura is growing, and as our Digital Services business unit scales, complexity across people, projects, and commercial priorities increases. We are looking for a Commercial Operations Lead to ensure strong operational performance and commercial impact across our digital services for the energy sector and beyond.
This role is critical in turning complexity into actionable decision-making by actively steering resources, projects and commercial performance. Thus enabling predictable delivery, strong utilization, and scalable growth in a consultancy-driven organization.
In this role, you will own and drive operational excellence across service delivery within Digital Services. Working closely with consultants, project managers, sales, engineering and support functions, you ensure clear structure, transparency, and strong alignment between commercial commitments and delivery capacity.
The role is initially non-managerial but carries significant informal leadership and cross-functional responsibility. You will work hands-on with coordination, tracking, and reporting, while independently driving improvements that strengthen how Digital Services operates. A key part of the role is to strengthen consultant and employee engagement through clear and ongoing dialogue on tasks, competencies, priorities, and expectations.
The role is based in Silkeborg, and it is expected to work from the office at least two days per week, combined with days at our office in Vejle and at home.
Key responsibilities
You will secure a clear and forward-looking overview of resources, projects, and performance across Digital Services and ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery. This includes to:
Monitor resource utilization to ensure optimal performance and profitability
Drive forward-looking capacity planning in close collaboration with sale and aligned with pipeline demand
Own the transition from contract signature to delivery start for T&M consultancy services securing the right processes towards HR, Finance, IT and Compliance
Create and maintain projects in internal systems
Own project and consultant follow-up, including month-end reporting
Drive improvements to strengthen delivery quality and KPIs
Furthermore, you will gradually strengthen the commercial engine of Digital Services by:
Supporting proposals, pricing models, and standardized offerings
Enabling identification of upsell opportunities in ongoing engagements
Feeding delivery insight and customer feedback into pipeline and forecasting
Acting as commercial sparring partner to Sales and Consultants

You are structured, analytical, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy creating clarity in complex, project-based settings, combining operational discipline with a commercial mindset.
To be successful in this position, you likely:
Have an agile mindset and are comfortable leading change, adapting ways of working and driving alignment in a dynamic, evolving organization
Have experience in commercial operations, service delivery, consultancy operations, or business support, ideally within software or engineering consultancy
Are comfortable working with resource planning, utilization, project follow-up, and performance reporting
Bring a solid commercial understanding and enjoy enabling revenue growth through better execution
Are confident working with multiple stakeholders and navigating competing priorities
Work confidently with digital tools such as ERP/CRM systems, project tools, and MS Office
Communicate fluently in English and thrive in an international, cross-functional setting
