HR Business Partner
You bring deep expertise in both strategic and hands-on HR, with a passion for building great teams, and with a solid grasp of employment law, collective agreements, and recruitment.
HR Business Partner
At Opoura, we’re on a mission to ignite the potential of people, starting with our own. As our new HR Business Partner, this is a unique chance to join us at an exciting stage of growth and help build our new People & Culture team at our headquarters in Silkeborg. You’ll play a key role in creating the foundation for how we attract, engage, and grow our people by building strong teams, developing talent, and ensuring our culture scales with our ambitions.
Would you like to be part of a growing, entrepreneurial business in the renewable energy sector? Do you thrive in a setting where every hire, every conversation, and every policy makes a real impact? Then you might be our new colleague.
Your role
You’ll be part of a passionate, forward-looking People & Culture team working to make Opoura a place where people not only work, but also thrive. In this role, you’ll partner closely with leaders across our business units, acting as a trusted advisor on all aspects of people management, including search, recruitment, and onboarding, organizational design, and legal compliance. Your work will span the employee lifecycle.
You’ll balance hands-on execution with strategic influence: some days you’ll be deep in candidate conversations or guiding managers through employment law questions; others, you’ll be sparring on long-term workforce planning or helping shape our employee experience. Either way, your impact will be visible and valued.
Your main responsibilities as HR Business Partner will be:
- Own the recruitment process from job profiling to offer—ensuring quality hires and great candidate experiences
- Provide confident, proactive guidance on labor law, contracts, and collective agreements and ensure legal compliance
- Lead onboarding and offboarding to create smooth transitions and foster employee retention
- Provide HR sparring on organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Promote engagement and well-being, supporting surveys, feedback sessions, and cultural initiatives
- Deliver HR analytics and reporting to inform leadership decisions and track progress on key KPIs
- Drive people projects, such as development programs, process improvements, and change initiatives
Your background
You bring a solid background in strategic and operational HR, with experience in supporting leaders across complex organizations. With a strong grasp of labor law, collective agreements, and talent development, you’re trusted for your ability to connect people’s priorities with business goals.
- 5–10 years of experience in an HR generalist or business partner role
- A master’s degree (e.g., Cand.merc., Cand.soc., or similar)
- Strong knowledge of labor law, employement contracts and collective agreements
- Proven experience in recruitment and talent attraction
- Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization
- A structured, analytical mindset with experience in HR data and systems
- Strong communication skills in both Danish and English
- A hands-on approach. You know when to zoom in and when to think big-picture
To be successful in this position, you:
- Build trusted relationships and communicate clearly
- Balance daily HR operations with strategic initiatives
- Handle sensitive matters with care and integrity
- Deliver results through collaboration and structure
- Use data to identify patterns, track KPIs, and continuously improve
