We offer an exciting position where you will report directly to our VP, Special Projects.
Your role
You will support stakeholders in various departments by conducting market analysis for concept and business development, supporting with business intelligence for strategic projects, gathering market intelligence on new solutions, identifying requirements and recommendations for potential strategy and solutions, and investigating long-term market trends within the renewable industry.
Your main responsibilities as our Business Development Analyst will be to:
- conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- develop data-driven insights that inform decision-making and improve competitive positioning
- prepare detailed business reports for the management team
- build financial models to assess the viability and ROI of new business initiatives
- support in the development of business cases.
Your background
We assume you hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a similar business-related field. You may have a few years of experience in similar roles or a relevant student job. Most importantly, you have strong analytical and organizational skills, a solid work ethic, and are eager to learn and further develop your abilities.
The ideal candidate is skilled in conducting market analysis and is familiar with various methods and tools for data collection and analysis. You possess expertise in data analytics and business development, with a strong motivation to work in these areas.
To be successful in this position, you:
- Are capable of translating complex data into concise, visually engaging presentations that drive actions
- Have strong skills in developing and presenting business cases, market analysis, and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
